VOLUNTEER

Volunteer Roles

Our volunteers serve as docents in the Guest Cottage and the Bethe House. They regularly serve a weekly 4-hour shift in either the morning or the afternoon. They also serve as tour guides for our walking tours. For those who are unable to commit to a regular weekly shift, there is an option to be on a sub list for any shifts that need to be filled.

Volunteers regularly interact with visitors, share information regarding Los Alamos history, and help visitors navigate our campus. They are expected to be familiar with our campus, educated on the basics of Los Alamos history, and promote a positive visitor experience.
